Our Sunshine Room is a sensory-friendly space designed to provide a calm and engaging environment for Participants who enjoy a quieter setting or benefit from activities that accommodate a range of abilities. With soft music, task boxes, adaptive bingo, puzzles, crafts, and more, the room offers opportunities for Participants to stay engaged, explore activities, and enjoy their day at their own pace.

The Sunshine Room also offers a peaceful place to relax and recharge when the day feels overwhelming. Whether a Participant needs a break from noise and activity or simply enjoys a quieter setting, this space provides a welcoming environment where they can feel at ease. With comfortable seating, tables, and movies to enjoy, the Sunshine Room ensures that every Participant has a place to belong and enjoy their day in a way that works best for them.

Support of Local Business & Organizations

Many local businesses and organizations generously share their time, talents, and resources with EFGC, bringing new experiences and excitement to our days. We welcome volunteers from the National Charity League, the NCAA College Football Senior Bowl, local high school service clubs, and Project Outreach. We also enjoy visits from community members who teach valuable life skills, including personal care, hygiene, social media safety, and public safety. Local businesses like Kind Cafe, Nothing Bundt Cakes, River Bank & Trust, and Vulcan Inc. also help raise awareness and support our mission!
