Our Mission

Exceptional Foundation Gulf Coast provides social and recreational opportunities for the special needs community of Baldwin and Mobile Counties.

Year Round Adult Day Program

EFGC offers a year-round, four-day-a-week social and recreational program for adults with intellectual and physical disabilities.

Participants enjoy a structured routine filled with opportunities to build independence, develop friendships, and grow through meaningful daily activities.

Daily on-site activities include art, dance, music, exercise, cooking, karaoke, life skills, and more. Participants also enjoy field trips and community outings, including bowling, movies, lunch outings, pickleball, farm visits, volunteer opportunities, and other experiences throughout the community.

Youth Summer Camp and After School Programs

EFGC offers an After School Program for high school Participants, including transportation from school at the end of the school day. The program provides opportunities for socialization, recreation, and continued personal growth in a supportive environment.

EFGC offers an eight-week Summer Camp Program for children ages 10 through high school. Each week features fun themes, engaging activities, and exciting field trips that encourage socialization, build friendships, and keep Participants active throughout the summer break.

The EFGC life skills and cooking programs offer opportunities to develop meaningful skills.

At EFGC, we strive to keep Participant fees as affordable as possible because we believe everyone deserves the opportunity to participate, regardless of financial circumstances.

Community support makes this possible! Through generous donations, fundraising events, and grants, we are able to cover more than 50% of the Foundation’s expenses and continue providing meaningful social and recreational opportunities for our Participants.
